Ms. Renee Price, director of Neue Galerie, Museum for German and Austrian Art in New York, partnered with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) in creating this holiday party. PET FASHION WEEK, New York -  On August 23, 2008 special event was featured: ECOuture Charity Fundraiser benefiting the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals.

Olga Horvat and her puppy Cleo, have participated in this fundraiser. Ms. Horvat has donated her artwork "Diva". Fund raised at this event provided assistance to animal shelters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On September 8th 2007, the Beverly Hills Hotel came to life, animated by hundreds of animal advocates gathering under the famed hotel’s glistening

lights to toast their glasses to compassion. The evening was chaired by Ellen DeGeneres. Celebrity guests included their Gala Host, Emily Deschanel, Jennifer Coolidge,

Kristen Bell, Daniela Sea, Alicia Silverstone, Nancy Sinatra, Parshia White, Fred Willard and many others. Silent Auction was a special part of this important night.

Olga Horvat participated in Cancer Care’s Under the Sea Gala, an auction and dinner,

on May 10, 2007. Cancer Care is the oldest and largest national organization devoted to

offering these vital services to thousands of kids each year. Ms. Horvat’s artwork “Bundle of Joy”

was sold at the auction and raised $1,250 for this very worthy organization.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Pug Palooza event was held on May 12, 2007 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Olga Horvat has donated her artwork “Play with Me”, for the Silent Auction. 

All proceeds from the sale went to Kentuckiana Pug Rescue. This Rescue is

networked throughout the states of Kentucky and Indiana.

Olga Horvat is supporter of Farm Sanctuary. On Saturday, May 20, 2006 Farm Sanctuary celebrated their 20th Anniversar

With a sold-out crowd, the beautiful Cipriani Wall Street Ballroom was filled with celebrities, artists, corporate leaders,

 legislators and members of the media.

The event was co-chaired by Daryl Hannah and Heather Mills-McCartney. There were many other celebrities in attendance

such as: James Cromwell, Mariel Hemingway, Grant Aleksander, David Boreanaz, Amy Davidson, James   Reynolds, Paul Sorvino,

Joan van Ark, Debra Wilson, and others.

A special part of this important night was a Silent Auction, featuring artwork inspired by many rescued animals. Olga Horvat’s artwork

Ms.Horvat, a member of the New York City Animal Rights, organized Valentine’s Weekend Anti-Fur March and Protest on February 11, 2006. This anti-fur outreach took place in front

of Bergdorf Goodman department store, in New York City. More than thirty million minks, foxes, chinchillas and other animals are killed each year for their fur! Fur industry is responsible

for the deaths of millions of animals including domestic dogs and cats! “If you love animals, don’t wear them”, Olga said.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Olga Horvat is animal rights activist and supporter of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). PETA’s 25th Anniversary Gala & Humanitarian Award Show took place at

Paramount Pictures in Hollywood, CA, September 10, 2005. Pamela Anderson was hosting this Gala along with comedic actor Fred Willard. This gala paid tribute to outstanding

activists and celebrities who have worked hard to promote the rights of animals through PETA campaigns including Ingrid Newkirk, Kathy Najimy, Alec Baldwin, Pink, Joaquin Phoenix,

 Jillian Barberie, Heather Mills McCartney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sean Astin, Alyssa Milano, Andy Dick, Dave Foley, Dennis Rodman and others.

 

Olga Horvat’s artwork “Freedom to Animals” was sold in a silent auction to benefit PETA’s Animal Emergency Fund in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Among the items auctioned

off for the Fund were autographed tennis rackets from McEnroe and Martina Navratilova, cruelty-free items from McCartney's fashion collection, items from Pamela Anderson,

John McEnroe, Stella McCartney, and others.
